Don't care about Animal Crossing Bells photos taken of this console-screen, I think what the picture itself is should matter.
This really annoys me. We have all read ourselves from now.
Would be good to have in a megathread rather than on the front page. It's interesting to share if you're the person who achieved the milestone, but it becomes tiresome to see so many"first blue rose" posts. I don't think they ought to be prohibited altogether, but there's just no reason anybody should be taking a picture of the screen in 2021.
Something that disturbs me at a lot of gaming subreddits is"that I bought the thing!" Posts reaching huge quantities of upvotes. However, there are some really talented artists out there making beautiful fanmade merch, which should not be discounted. I want to mention that maybe merch posts should be limited to the men and women who made the things, but that may cross over into self-promotion too much.
Official merch definitely doesn't need to be a part of the subreddit. This ought to be a place to show off things we've created, both in and outside of the sport, and to go over the sport as a whole. By definition, official merch is not made by community members, and the only effort involved with animal crossing buy bells online producing a post about it's taking the picture.
